Changing passwords in Xactimate

Update password

If you need to update your password, follow these steps: 

Note: If your company manages your Xactware account and password, these instructions do not apply; you must work with your company to update your password. If you are unsure whether this applies to you, complete Steps 1 and 2 (below); if the Password section from Step 3 does not appear, your company manages your password. 
  1. Go to identity.verisk.com.  
  2. Log in with your Xactware ID. The Account Settings page appears. 
  3. In the Password field, enter your new password and click Change Password

Reset password

If you don’t remember your password and want to reset it, follow these steps: 

  1. Go to identity.verisk.com
  2. Select Forgot your password? at the bottom of the login page. 
  1. Write your email address in the field, then click Reset password.  

An email will be sent to your email address with instructions for resetting your password. If you don’t receive the email, check your spam folder.  

Contact Support if you need additional help changing your password.
