Change an activity code in X1

How to change a code

  1. Under Estimate items, select the Items tab.
  2. Select an item below the Quick entry pane.
  3. In the Quick entry pane, click the Act drop-down menu, and select a new activity code.

Code options

  • + Replace: Covers the cost of installation labor and new material. 
  • - Remove: Covers the cost of removal labor. 
  • R Detach & Reset: Covers the cost to remove the existing material and reinstall it. 
  • & Remove and replace: Covers the cost of removing the old material and replacing it with new. 
  • F Repair: Only available in custom line items where a custom price is entered. 
  • M Material Only: Covers the cost of material only, not any installation costs. 
  • I Install Only: Covers the cost of the installation only, not any material costs.
