Exporting macros

In Sketch

  1. On the Sketch tab, select Options. 
  2. Select Macros in the Sketch ribbon. 
  3. Select Macro list. This opens a dialog box. 
  4. Select Options. 
  5. Select Send list to. 
  6. Select PDF or Excel, depending on how you want to export the macro. 

In Estimate Items-method one 

  1. On the Estimate items tab, select Items. 
  2. Select Macros. 
  3. In the Macros pane, select Options. 
  4. From the Options menu, select Send list to. 
  5. Select PDF or Excel, depending on how you want to export the macro. 

In Estimate Items-method two 

  1. In the Grouping pane, right-click the structure or group that has the line items and macros you want to export. 
  2. Select Retrieve Macro. This opens a dialog box. 
  3. Select Options.  
  4. From the Options menu, select Send list to. 
  5. Select PDF or Excel, depending on how you want to export the macro. 

Importing macros

At this time, Xactimate online does not support importing macros. However, this option is available via Xactimate desktop (X1).
