View or open a locked project in Xactimate online

Projects are marked as checked out if another user is working on them. You can still access these projects by following these steps:   

  1. Double click the project in the Project list or select the project and the Open icon. 

 

Instance admins 

If you are an Instance admin, a yellow window appears. 

  1. Select one of the options in the yellow Instance admin message window. 
    1. Select Continue to open the estimate and take control of the project from the current user. 
    2. Select Read Only to open a read-only, non-editable version of the estimate.   
    3. Select Cancel to return to the Project page.  

Non-Instance admins 

If you are not an Instance admin in Xactimate Admin, a white and blue message window appears. 

  1. Select one of the options in the message window.   
    1. Select Read Only to open a read-only, non-editable version of the estimate.   
    2. Select Cancel to return to the Project page.
