Sync your instance and profiles in Xactimate desktop
An instance uses cloud technology to create a collaborative network experience within your organization. It simplifies the setup process and allows you to easily access projects, templates, and other data. Most users will only sync to one instance. Those who work for multiple firms as independent adjusters will be part of multiple instances.
After logging in to Xactimate for the first time, you will need to sync your data with the data in our servers.
- When prompted, select an instance to sync.
- After syncing your instance, select one or more profiles to sync.
- If you are a member of multiple instances and need to switch to a different instance, you will need to log out and then log back in. Each time you log in, you will be prompted to select an instance.
