Which reports are estimate reports?
Estimate reports contain information on projects, including estimates and assignments. You can choose what information is included in estimate reports by selecting checkboxes in the Print Selections box in the Print Options tab of Documents > Reports.

The following is a list of estimate reports that describes information available in each report and other details.
Abbreviated
The Abbreviated report gives a concise overview of your project and includes basic administrative information. Depending on your choices in the Print Selection box, this report can include the following sections:
- Coversheet
- Line item details
- Factor detail
- Summary
- Summary of add-ons
- Recap by room
- Recap by category
- Closing statement
- Sketch
Breakdown of add-ons
Depending on your choices in the Print Selection box, this report can include the following sections:
- Coversheet
- Breakdown of add-ons
- Sketch
Change report
This detailed report compares the differences between saved versions of the estimate. It focuses on differences in item additions, edits, and deletions.
The Change report is only available if a previously closed version of the estimate exists to be compared to the current version of the estimate. If a previous version of the estimate is not available, a message appears telling you that the report is not available.
If the Change report is available, then, depending on your choices in the Print Selection box, this report can include the following sections:
- Coverage totals
- Add-ons detail
- Item detail
- Item detail changes
- Category detail
- Sketch changes
Contents change report
This report is only available if a previously closed version of the estimate exists to be compared to the current version of the estimate. If a previous version of the estimate is not available, a message appears telling you that this report is unavailable.
If the Contents change report is available, then, depending on your choices in the Print Selection box, this report can include the following sections:
- Coversheet
- Coverage totals
- Add-ons detail
- Item detail
- Item detail changes
- Category detail
Components
This report displays basic information about material, equipment, and labor components recorded in your estimate. Depending on your choices in the Print Selection box, this report can include the following sections:
- Coversheet
- Component breakdown
- Closing statement
- Sketch
Contents
The Contents report provides information on contents inside of the estimate by providing line items details, summaries, and a recap by category. Depending on your choices in the Print Selection box, this report can include the following sections:
- Coversheet
- Line item detail
- Summary
- Recap by category
- Closing statement
- Sketch
Contents age
This report provides information on contents and filters that information by age and an associated replacement cost value. Depending on your choices in the Print Selection box, this report can include the following sections:
- Coversheet
- Age summary
- Line item detail grouped by age
- Closing statement
Contents detail
The Contents detail report focuses its contents information on items that have been added to the estimate. Depending on your choices in the Print Selection box, this report can include the following sections:
- Coversheet
- Line item detail
- Summary
- Recap by category
- Closing statement
- Sketch
Cost comparison report
The Cost Comparison report shows the difference between the cost of the estimate reported by the insured and the actual cost. Depending on your choices in the Print Selection box, this report can include the following sections:
- Coversheet
- Reported cost comparison
- Closing statement
Customer total amount
This report contains a room-by-room listing (which includes the room name, dimensions, item descriptions, and item quantity) without any prices. It is designed for the customer.

Differences report
The Differences report illustrates the differences between saved versions of the estimate. The Differences report displays category detail summaries and a comparison of add-ons.
These reports are only available if a previously closed version of the estimate exists to be compared to the current version of the estimate. If a previous version of the estimate is not available, a message appears telling you that this report is unavailable.
If a Change report is available, then, depending on your choices in the Print Selection box, this report can include the following sections:
- Category detail
- Add-ons detail
- Sketch changes
Estimate audit
This report tracks estimate ownership and activity. Depending on your choices in the Print Selection box, this report can include the following sections:
- Coversheet
- Ownership audit
- Estimate audit trail
- Closing statement
Final draft
This report gives a comprehensive overview of everything in the estimate. It is meant to be used when the estimate is finished.
Depending on your choices in the Print Selection box, this report can include the following sections:

- Recap by category

Final draft separate coverage type
This version of the Final draft report is customer-ready breaks down all the information in the estimate by coverage. Depending on your choices in the Print Selection box, this report can include the following sections:

- Line item detail
- Factor detail
- Summary
- Summary of add-ons
- Recap by category
- Closing statement
- Sketch
Final draft with age, life, and condition
This version of the Final draft report breaks down all the information in the estimate by age, life, and condition. Depending on your choices in the Print Selection box, this report can include the following sections:
- Coversheet
- Line item detail
- Summary
- Summary of add-ons
- Recap by room
- Recap by category
- Closing statement
- Sketch
Final draft with/without removal depreciation
This version of the Final draft report offers a comprehensive overview of the estimate. You can choose to include depreciation in the report or ignore it. Depending on your choices in the Print Selection box, this report can include the following sections:
- Line item detail
- Summary of add-ons
- Recap by room
- Recap by category
- Closing statement
- Sketch
Internal TAM
This report gives a detailed room-by-room breakdown of the time and materials required to complete a job. Depending on your choices in the Print Selection box, this report can include the following sections:
- Coversheet
- Line item detail
- Summary
- Summary of add-ons
- Recap by room
- Recap by category
- Closing statement
- Sketch
Replaced items
This report only provides information about items that are marked as replaced in the estimate. Depending on your choices in the Print Selection box, this report can include the following sections:

- Replaced items only
Rough draft
This detailed report includes information about item quantities, prices, summaries, and recaps. Depending on your choices in the Print Selection box, this report can include the following sections:
- Coversheet
- Line item detail
- Summary
- Summary of add-ons
- Recap by room
- Recap by category
- Closing statement
- Sketch
Scope
The Scope report gives a room-by-room scope of the rooms in your estimate but doesn’t include information about prices. Depending on your choices in the Print Selection box, this report can include the following sections:

- Closing statement

Totals report
The Totals report provides a cost breakdown by category. It does not include item information. Depending on your choices in the Print Selection box, this report can include the following sections:
- Totals information
- Factor detail
- Summary of add-ons
Underwriting checklist
The Underwriting checklist is not a report but is still listed as an option under Estimate reports if you have the Underwriting checklist profile feature enabled. Read this article about the underwriting checklist feature to learn more.
Variation
The Variation report is used to identify items in an estimate that are different from the equivalent item in the checkpoint price list.
Depending on your choices in the Print Selection box, this report can include the following sections:
- Coversheet
- Basic variations
- NFCP variations
- Not in price list variations
- Zero cost item variations
