How do I install the new version of Xactimate desktop?

To install Xactimate desktop X1, navigate to the installation page at https://www.verisk.com/insurance/products/xactimate/#download (or select the Download button here) and select Download Xactimate in the Desktop section. Once your computer has finished downloading it, open the file; this initiates the installation, and Xactimate walks you through the process.

If you already have Xactimate 28 installed when you finish installing X1, the data from Xactimate 28 automatically migrates to X1.
