Adding ClickOnce for the Xactimate online Estimate Writer

To use the Xactimate online Estimate Writer, you must install the Xactware ClickOnce extension in your browser. If you do not have rights to install extensions, you may need to contact your system administrator. 

You can install the ClickOnce extension in Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Microsoft Edge. Step-by-step instructions for installing ClickOnce are below.   

Google Chrome  

Extension link The Xactware ClickOnce extension is available in Chrome.  
  1. Click the icon with three dots.
  2. Click Extensions.
  3. Select Manage Extensions.
  4. Click Open Chrome Web Store at the left of the screen.  
  5. Search for “Xactware ClickOnce.”  
  6. Install the Xactware ClickOnce Extension. 
  1. Select Add to Chrome. 
  2. A popup asking for confirmation appears. Select Add extension to continue.  
  3. ClickOnce downloads and a page with specific installation instructions appears. Follow the instructions to complete installation. 
  4. Restart your browser.

 

Microsoft Edge 

The Microsoft Edge browser doesn’t require users to download the Xactware ClickOnce Extension to install the Xactimate online Estimate Writer—instead you’ll be prompted to install the Xactimate online Estimate Writer automatically.

Mozilla Firefox  

Extension link The Xactware ClickOnce extension is available in FIrefox.

  1. Click on the button with three lines.  
  2. Select Add-ons and themes. 
  3. Select Extensions.
  4. Search for "Xactware ClickOnce."
  5. In the search results, select the Xactware ClickOnce extension.
  6. Select Add to Firefox.
  1. An informational popup appears with instructions. Select Add. 
  1. ClickOnce downloads and a page with specific installation instructions appears. Follow the instructions to complete installation.
  2. Restart your browser.
