Copying and pasting a room in Xactimate desktop

To copy (or cut) and paste a room, complete the following:

  1. Open an estimate.
  2. Select the Sketch tab.
  3. Select the room that you want to copy.
  4. Copy a room by doing either of the following:
    1. Right-click the room and select Copy (or Cut) from the drop-down menu.
    2. Select Ctrl+C to copy (or Ctrl+X to cut).
  5. Paste the room by doing either of the following:
    1. Right-click the workspace and select Paste from the drop-down menu.
    2. Select Ctrl+V while the cursor is in the workspace.

An outline of the copied room appears in place of your cursor.

  1. Left-click anywhere in the workspace to place the room.
