Add and import staff laborers

Add staff laborers individually 

  1.  Open XactAdmin and select Instances. 
  2. Select your instance from the table. 
  3. Select Configuration.
  1. Select Add staff laborer(s) in the T&M STAFF LABOR section to open the Add staff laborer(s) side drawer.

  1. Fill in the form. 
Note: Only the Name and Employee ID fields are required. The employee number field is automatically populated but can be edited if desired. 
  1. Select ADD STAFF. 
Note: To add additional staff, select Add another staff laborer before clicking ADD STAFF.

Import staff laborers 

Use an Excel template to bulk import staff laborers. 

  1.  Open XactAdmin and select Instances. 
  2. Select your instance from the table. 
  3. Select Configuration.
  1. Select Add staff laborer(s) in the T&M STAFF LABOR section to open the Add staff laborer(s) side drawer.

  1. Select Import. 
  2. Select New staff to download the Add staff laborers template.

  3. Fill in the template. 
Note: Do not use currency symbols when adding wages. The only required field in the template is the name. If the ID field is left blank, an ID will be auto generated.  
  1. Once the template is complete, return to XactAdmin and click Select File From Computer. 
Upload the staff laborers Excel template
  1. Select the template from the file explorer. 
  2. Select Open.
