Sending assignments through Xactimate and XactAnalysis

Generally, we begin an assignment by creating and sending a Send Work Assignment (SWA) in XactAnalysis. An example of an SWA can be found in this article, which also gives step-by-step instructions on how to send a work assignment to Xactimate.
Alternatively, if more work needs to be done on an assignment in XactAnalysis, XactAnalysis can request the assignment back through Xactimate desktop.
When the work on the assignment is finished, you’ll need to send the project back to XactAnalysis. In Xactimate desktop, you can select the XA icon on the Projects page to open a project in XactAnalysis. In Xactimate online, you can return an assignment to XactAnalysis via the Complete tab.
