Create a room offset

Offset a room with two new walls

  1. Open an estimate.
  2. Select the Sketch tab.
  3. In the Tools group, click Break.
  4. Click a wall where you want to start the offset.
  5. Drag along the wall to where you want to end the offset.
  6. The sides of the offset appear on the sketch, represented by two lines on the wall, with a blue box between them.
  7. Click and drag the blue box to create the offset.

Offset a room with a shared wall

  1. Open an estimate.
  2. Select the Sketch tab.
  3. In the Tools group, click Break.
  4. Click a wall where you want to end the offset.
  5. The side of the offset appears, represented by a line on the wall with a blue box on either side.
  6. Click and drag a blue box to create the offset.
