Create or edit a custom filter in Xactimate desktop

To create a custom filter:

  1. In the Project dashboard, click the Filter icon next to the search bar.
  2. Click New filter. The Create new filter dialog box appears.
  3. Enter your Filter name, Project type, Profile, Status, Date modified, Start date, and End date.
  4. Click Save. Your custom filter is now available .

To edit a custom filter:

  1. In the Project dashboard, click the Filter icon next to the search bar and find your custom filter in the list. 
  2. Click the Edit icon beside your custom filter. The Edit filter dialog box appears.
  3. Edit your filter, then click Save.

To duplicate a custom filter:

  1. In the Project dashboard, click the Filter icon next to the search bar and find your custom filter in the list.
  2. Click the Edit icon beside your custom filter. The Edit filter dialog box appears.
  3. Click the Duplicate icon at the top.
  4. Enter a new name.
  5. Edit the filter, then click Save.

To delete a custom filter:

  1. In the Project dashboard, click the Filter icon next to the search bar and find your custom filter in the list.
  2. Click the Edit icon beside your custom filter. The Edit filter dialog box appears.
  3. Click the Delete icon at the top.
