Change the eave and rake dimensions of a roof in X1

  1. Open the estimate.
  2. On the Sketch tab, double-click the roof to open the Roof properties window.
  3. Under Dimensions, enter a new dimension for the eave in the Overhang - eave box.
  4. Under Dimensions, enter a new dimension for the rake, if applicable, in the Overhang - rake box.
  5. To close the Roof properties window, click anywhere on the Sketch workspace.
Hip roofs do not have a rake overhang.
