Drying Days

Xactimate uses the number of drying days along with relevant line items to calculate the total cost of the drying process.
There are two profile features that control the Drying Days field in Xactimate.
- Show Drying Days: This feature controls the visibility of the Drying Days field.
- Dry Out Days Required: This feature makes the Drying Days field required.
Contact your Verisk account manager to turn on these profile features.
The Drying Days field is found under Coverages & Loss in the Claim Info tab.
This field does not accept values with more than one decimal place (e.g., 3.25).
