Using Xactimate mobile (iOS) to measure downspouts and windows

To record downspouts and windows via the Xactimate mobile application, open Sketch and select the appropriate option from the flyout menu (upper right), whichever is appropriate.
Downspouts
From the flyout menu, select the Reference Area icon and then the Downspout AR icon. Follow the prompts on the screen to record the length (capture each end of the downspout) and select Done in the upper right when completed. Once completed, you can make modifications in the confirmation screen and save the measurements. You can also modify the downspout as usual from the main sketch page once created.
Windows
From the flyout menu, select the Wall Openings icon and then the Window AR icon. Follow the prompts on the screen to record the perimeter (select the applicable wall in the sketch, capture the ground, and then capture two opposite corners of the window) and select Done in the upper right when completed. Once completed, you can make modifications in the confirmation screen and save the measurements. You can also modify the window as usual from the main sketch page once created.
