XactScope roof and exterior prompt dependencies

XactScope takes project estimation one step further by predicting what items you need to add based on the sketch you create and your answers to existing prompts. The following information is meant to help you understand which actions precipitate each option. This guide includes all the roof and exterior cards, how to enable them, and what they effect.
You must have a wireframe roof to access the Roof & Exterior script (see Creating an XactScope roof and exterior sketch for details). The cards that appear vary depending on the material used (determined in the Roof Face card). If you enter Grouping Mode after answering any prompt, your answers will be erased, so be sure you group your walls beforehand.
Roof Face

This card appears when you select any portion of a wireframe roof. The material options vary depending on the slope of the roof.
Dependencies
Select the appropriate material for the selected segment of roof; this affects almost every other card and prompt. If it is a composition roof and you have not included an automatic waste calculator, the Waste prompt appears. If it is a wood roof, a prompt appears for fire resistance (you can modify this in the profile settings). If the roof material is copper, other cards, like Valley Metal, use copper as a default.

Underlayment – Ice/Water Barrier
