Download a price list in XactContents

If you download the Xactware published price lists you can then access a database of contents items even while you are not connected to the internet. If you typically write your contents estimates while connected to the internet, you can rely solely on the XactContents online database and do not need to download a price list. The XactContents database is updated every Friday evening.

If your company receives assignments from XactAnalysis, you will not need to download a price list manually. Price lists contain general quote items, contents cleaning items, and sales tax jurisdictions.

Download a current price list

By city

  1. On the Price list tab, click Request price list(s) in the upper right corner.
  2. Select the country, and enter the state/province and city.
  3. Click Download.

By zip code

  1. On the Price list tab, click Request price list(s) in the upper right corner.
  2. Select the country.
  3. Select the zip/postal option.
  4. Enter the zip/postal code of the needed price list.
  5. Click Download.

Download an historical price list

By city

  1. On the Price list tab, click Request price list(s) in the upper right corner.
  2. In the drop-down menu, under Select a price list area for your request, select Older Xactware price list.
  3. Enter the date for the price list you want to download.
  4. Select the country, and enter the state/province and city.
  5. Click Download.

By zip code

  1. On the Price list tab, click Request price list(s) in the upper right corner.
  2. In the drop-down menu under Select a price list area for your request, select Older Xactware price list.
  3. Enter the date for the price list you want to download.
  4. Select the country.
  5. Select the zip/postal option.
  6. Enter the zip/postal code of the needed price list.
  7. Click Download.
