View or hide the Line item entry pad in X1
Located in the Quick entry pane, the Line item entry pad allows you to easily add items or specific item information to your estimate. Although you can choose to view or hide the Line item entry pad at any time, the Quick entry pane will remain to indicate the items you have added to an estimate.
View the Line item entry pad
- Open an estimate.
- Under Estimate items, select the Items tab. The Line item entry pad is located in the Quick entry pane at the bottom of the window. If the Quick entry pane is not visible, contact your instance administrator.
- Right click anywhere below the Quick entry pane.
- Select Show line item entry pad.
- Right click anywhere below the Quick entry pane.
- Cancel the selection Show line item entry pad. The Line item entry pad will disappear from the window.
