XactContents XactAI Pricing

The XactContents XactAI Pricing tool reduces time spent searching for items. It improves claim accuracy, enhances the user experience, and removes manual data entry. To use XactAI Pricing, you must have an XactContents license and the feature must be active for your instance. 

Enable XactAI Pricing 

Before you can use XactAI Pricing, you must first enable it in Xactimate Admin. 

Changes made within Xactimate Admin are saved automatically. Data is pushed to Xactimate when a user logs in, so to ensure data is refreshed, log out and back into Xactimate after making preference changes. 

  1. Log into Xactimate Admin. 

Note: Users must have administrative rights to access Xactimate Admin. Additionally, users with admin rights to more than one instance must select the correct instance from the Instances table before continuing onto step 2.  

  1. Select Configuration.  

Note: Depending on the size of your screen and your display settings, you may need to scroll to see Configuration. 

  1. Scroll down to the XactContents XactAI Pricing section. 
  2. Activate the desired option(s). Options include 
  • Enable advanced item categorization and general quote item pricing: Xactimate services will use item descriptions to better categorize and price items. 
  • Enable automatic approval and repriced items: XactContents will save the results of suggested line item categories, selectors, and price based on the general quotes of items in the selected price list and confidence level selected below. 
  1. Select a confidence level.  
     
    Note: The confidence level is set to medium by default.

XactContents XactAI Pricing

  1. Within an open project, select Estimate. 
  2. Select XactContents.
  3. Once an inventory is imported or added to XactContents, select the XactAI Pricing tab.  
     
    Note: Pricing verification of inventory items begins automatically. 
  4. Approve or adjust results as needed.
     
    Note: The search results automatically flag items with low confidence to make it easy to identify which results require review.
