Add a window to Sketch
Add a window
- Open an estimate.
- Select the Sketch tab.
- Click the dropdown arrow next to Window, then select your desired type of window.
- On the Sketch workspace, click a wall to add a window.
- To move the window, click and drag the blue box in the center of the window.
- To resize the window, click and drag a red diamond on either side of the window.
- To delete the window, right-click the window and select Delete. Or click the window and press Delete on the keyboard.
Types of windows
- Standard: A basic window.
- Bay: A projection window made of three angled windows.
- Box: A projection window with straight, rectangular sides forming a box shape.
- Bow: A projection window made of four or more slightly curved windows.
- Bay with roof: A bay window with a roof above it.
- Box with roof: A box window with a roof above it.
- Bow with roof: A bow window with a roof above it.
- Picture: A large window that doesn’t open.
- Hung: A vertically sliding window with either one or two operable sashes.
- Horizontal sliding: A window where one or more sashes slide horizontally.
- Casement: A window that opens outward like a door.
- Rectangle: A rectangular window.
- Flat arch: A window with a flat arch.
- Round arch: A window with a rounded arch.
- Round: A round window.
- Octagon: An octagonal window.
- Trapezoid: A trapezoidal window.
- Triangle: A triangular window.
