Manage XactAI licence information in Xactimate Admin

The Verisk artificial intelligence tool, known as XactAI, is an add-on designed to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, consistency, and speed of creating estimates and other projects across Verisk’s suite of solutions, including Xactimate, XactContents, XactAnalysis, and ClaimXperience.  

We offer three types of XactAI licences. The XactAI – 1 month subscription is priced per user. For a limited time, you can sign up for the XactAI – 1 month subscription – Early access price licence, which comes with a special discount and a 12-month contract. We also offer an Enterprise licence that includes access for all users in your account across Xactimate, XactContents, XactAnalysis, and ClaimXperience. You can purchase XactAI – 1 month subscription – Early access price and XactAI – 1 month subscription licences through the Xactware store. To manage XactAI licences in your Verisk account(s) in Xactimate Admin, follow the directions below. 

Assign XactAI licences 

The Enterprise licence assigns XactAI to all users in the account automatically. However, you must assign licences manually for XactAI – Early access price and XactAI – Online Store – Month. To assign licences, follow the steps below. 

  1. From within Xactimate Admin, select Accounts. 
  2. Select Users. 

Note: If you have more than one account, select your account from the Accounts table to open the Users tab. 

  1. Select the row of the user whose rights you want to edit. This opens a side drawer. 
  2. Turn on the Enable user access to XactAI toggle. 
  3. Select Save. This closes the side drawer.

Learn more about XactAI 

  1. Select Accounts. 
  2. Select Users. 
  3. Select the Learn more link. A pop-up window appears. 
  4. Select Pilot for early access to XactAI. 

Deactivate XactAI options 

After you purchase an XactAI licence, the XactAI photo labelling option activates in Xactimate Admin by default.  

Note: Only XactAI photo labelling is controlled in Xactimate Admin. Activation of XactAI ALE Receipt Processing and XactAI Assignment Summaries is controlled manually in ClaimXperience and XactAnalysis, respectively.  

If you have an XactAI – Early access price licence or the XactAI – Online Store – Month licence, you can turn off XactAI photo labelling by following these steps.  

  1. From within Xactimate Admin, select Instances. 

Note: If you have more than one instance, find your instance on the Instances table and select it. 

  1. Select Configuration. 
  2. Locate the XactAI section. Depending on your settings, you may have to scroll to find this option. 
  3. Turn off the XactAI: Enable XactAI labels and descriptions toggle. 

Note: The XactAI section is not available if XactAI licences have not been purchased.
