Restore all backup data

  1. On the Xactimate tab, click Tools.
  2. In the Services group, click Data Transfer Backup to open the Data Transfer Backup window.
  3. In the Action group, select Retrieve.
  4. In the From box, enter the location where the backup data is stored.
  5. Click the Retrieve button. The progress bar indicates restore progress.
  6. After the data has been restored, the Transfer Results window opens. Click Save Log to save a copy of the transfer session, or click Close to exit.

Restore specific backup data

  1. On the Xactimate tab, click Tools.
  2. In the Services group, click Data Transfer to open the Data Transfer window.
  3. In the Transfer Type group, verify that Folder is selected.
  4. In the Action group, select Retrieve.
  5. In the From box, enter the location where the backup data is stored.
  6. Click the Select Item(s) button to open the Data Transfer window.
  7. In the menu on the left, click the type of each item that you want to restore. Then, in the menu on the right, select the specific items that you want to restore.
  8. Click the Retrieve button. The progress bar indicates restore progress.
  9. After the data has been restored, the Transfer Results window opens. Click Save Log to save a copy of the transfer session, or click Close to exit.

Restore specific backup data with drag-and-drop

  1. Open the folder that contains the file that you want to restore.
  2. In Xactimate, click the Control Center tab.
  3. Click the file that you want to restore and drag it to the Data Transfer button in the upper right corner of the Xactimate Control Center tab.
